Amie has always had a passion for children. She gave her heart and life to Jesus Christ when she was a child, and now it is her desire and mission to lead other children to develop a personal relationship with Him.

Having spent eleven years working in various areas of children’s ministry, Amie brings a wealth of experience. Add to that her degree in elementary education and seven years of teaching in both public and private school systems, one can see how God prepared her for His service. Amie sensed God’s call to full-time ministry, and with the support of her husband, Matt, and the love of her two children, Anna Beth and Will, she has surrendered her life to God and the ministry at First Baptist Church.

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
