Next Steps

Our world is broken. There’s so much pain and suffering that each of us will encounter in life. If we’re honest, we know that we are broken. Our sins continue to hold captive joy and peace in this life. You may be reading this because you’re looking for peace, for forgiveness, for new life. Turning to Jesus is your first step. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. In Him there is abundant life and peace for all who will trust in Him as Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9 says, “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

God’s Word commands that believers “repent and be baptized.” (Acts 2:38) This act is a testimony to the world that the old self has died and we are now walking in a new life through Christ.

For anyone seeking to join our church or simply wanting to know more about who we are and what we do, we have a quarterly class called Starting Point. This class takes place over the course of 3 Sundays and is designed to introduce you to our awesome staff and all that our church believes and does. Anyone is welcome! Christ-centered fellowship is essential to helping believers grow in their knowledge and commitment to truth in their lives. Our Sunday School classes provide a place where people gather together and encourage one another to live out God’s call on our lives. You’ll find a group that will minister to you and provide a place for you to minister to others. You’ll find a group that prays for one another in times of need and times of celebration. Join a Sunday School class and find brothers and sisters in the faith to encourage you as you seek to grow in all of God’s ways.

From local ministry opportunities to international mission trips, there are so many ways that you can plug into what FBC is doing to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Fayetteville, TN and around the world. Within the walls of our church, we cherish opportunities to serve one another in various ministries, such as children’s ministry, youth ministry, music ministry, and much more. Our church is also very passionate about reaching out beyond our walls by serving our community and seeking open doors for ministry in our state, our nation, and in places such as Guatemala.
